7 Recommended Songs of Taylor Swift (My Version)

| | 1 komentar

Well, tapi lagu-lagu yang kurekomendasikan ini bukan lagu-lagu yang terkenal seperti You Belong With Me atau We Are Never Getting Back Together. Bukan.
Oke, I’ll stop talking now, so you can see my recommended songs. ^^

7. The Lucky One
Sekalinya udah terkenal, banyak orang yang bilang, “You’re the lucky one!” sama dia.
Terus cara Taylor nyanyi, “Yeah, they tell you now you’re the lucky one. But can you tell me now you’re the lucky one~” itu menarik.

6. Come In With The Rain
Well, to be honest, aku nggak begitu tau arti lagu ini.
Itulah arti lagu Come In With The Rain menurut presepsiku.
Simpel tapi menarik. Di lagu ini, aku suka yang bagian, “I’ve watched you so long. Scream your name. I don’t know what else I can say~” bagian itu agak cepet dan artinya bagus banget!

Tapi nyatanya nggak. Tempo lagu ini cukup nge-beat dan cara Taylor nyanyinya nggak begitu kayak orang lagi patah hati. Ada satu lirik yang bunyinya, “Come on, come on, don’t leave me like this. I thought I had you figured out. Somethings gone teribbly wrong. Can’t turn back now. I’m haunted.”

4. Forever and Always
Pasti tentang pasangan yang ketemu, saling suka, terus bilang Forever and Always. Tapi ternyata aku salah! Salah besar!
Arti lagu Forever and Always sama sekali nggak begitu.
Aku paling suka sama bagian yang, “Cause it rains in your bedroom. Everything is wrong. It rains when you’re her.

3. All Too Well
Well, yang kumaksud lucu bukan artinya, tapi nadanya. And you call me up again just to break me like a promise. So casually cruel in the name of being honest. I'm a crumpled up piece of paper lying here. Cause I remember it all, all, all too well~” Di bagian itu suara Taylor kedengeran nyaring dan imut. Selain itu, arti lagu ini juga bagus. Jadi, nggak salah kan kalau aku suka lagu ini?

2. If This Was A Movie
Oke, sekarang kita mulai membahas arti. Sebenarnya, arti lagu ini nggak jauh beda dari arti Haunted atau All Too Well.
Nggak jauh beda kan dari Haunted atau All Too Well? Dan sama kayak All Too Well, si cewek ini mengingat-ingat kenangannya sama pacarnya itu. If you’re out there. If you somewhere. If you moving on~” dan artinya yang mencakup dua lagu sekaligus, rasanya lagu ini pantas berada di nomor 2.

1. Jump Then Fall
Ini dia lagu Taylor yang tak begitu terkenal tapi mendapat gelar ‘Most Recommended’ from me. Aku pernah nge-post lirik lagu ini beberapa waktu sebelumnya. Jadi, kalau mau nerjemahin sendiri silahkan. Tapi aku mau cerita sedikit tentang kisahnya Jump Then Fall ini.
Then Fall pantas mendapat gelar ‘Most Recommended Song’ dariku.

Well, I think that’s enough for now. May it help you to find good songs which you can listen it often. See you! ^^

Taylor Swift - Jump Then Fall

| | 0 komentar

I like the way you sound in the morning
We're on the phone and without a warning
I realize your laugh is the best sound
I have ever heard

I like the way I can't keep my focus
I watch you talk, you didn't notice
I hear the words but all I can think is
We should be together
Every time you smile, I smile
And every time you shine, I'll shine for you

Whoa, oh, I'm feeling you baby
Don't be afraid to
Jump then fall
Jump then fall into me
Be there, never gonna leave you
Say that you wanna be with me too
So I'mma stay through it all
So jump then fall

Well, I like the way your hair falls in your face
You got the keys to me
I love each freckle on your face, oh
I've never been so wrapped up, honey
I like the way you're everything I ever wanted

I had time to think it all over
And all I can say is come closer
Take a deep breath then jump then fall into me
Cause Every time you smile, I smile
And every time you shine, I'll shine for you

Whoa, oh, I'm feeling you baby
Don't be afraid to
Jump then fall
Jump then fall into me
Be there, never gonna leave you
Say that you wanna be with me too
So I'mma stay through it all
So jump then fall

The bottom's gonna drop out from under our feet
I'll catch you, I'll catch you
And people say things that bring you to your knees
I'll catch you
The time is gonna come when you're so mad you could cry
But I'll hold you through the night until you smile

Whoa, oh, I need you baby
Don't be afraid, please,
Jump then fall
Jump then fall into me
Be there, never gonna leave you
Say that you wanna be with me too
So I'mma stay through it all
So jump then fall
Jump then fall, baby,
Jump then fall into me, into me

Every time you smile, I smile
And every time you shine, I shine
And every time you're here
Baby I'll show you, I'll show you
You can Jump then fall, jump then fall
Jump then fall into me, into me, yeah

Avril Lavigne - Things I'll Never Say

| | 0 komentar

I’m tugging at my hair
I’m pulling at my clothes
I’m trying to keep my cool
I know it shows
I’m staring at my feet
My cheeks are turning red
I’m searching for the words inside my head

[Pre-Chorus]
(Cause) I’m feeling nervous
Trying to be so perfect
Cause I know you’re worth it
You’re worth it
Yeah

[Chorus]
If I could say what I want to say
I'd say I wanna blow you... away
Be with you every night
Am I squeezing you too tight
If I could say what I want to see
I want to see you go down
On one knee
Marry me today
Guess, I’m wishing my life away
With these things I’ll never say

It don’t do me any good
It’s just a waste of time
What use is it to you
What’s on my mind
If it ain’t coming out
We’re not going anywhere
So why can’t I just tell you that I care

[Pre-Chorus]

[Chorus]

What’s wrong with my tongue
These words keep slipping away
I stutter, I stumble
Like I’ve got nothing to say

[Pre-Chorus]

Guess I’m wishing my life away with these things I’ll never say
If I could say what I want to say
I'd say I wanna blow you...away
Be with you every night
Am I squeezing you too tight
If I could say what I want to see
I want to see you go down
On one knee
Marry me today
Guess, I’m wishing my life away
With these things I’ll never say
These things I’ll never say

Montreal City

| | 0 komentar

Montréal is the largest city in Québec. It is also one of the largest cities in Canada.

Montréal is one of the most important cities in Canada. It’s a center of industry, trade, culture, and tourism. Until the 1990s, Montréal was the largest city in Canada. Now Toronto has more people, and Montréal is Canada’s second largest city.

CITY ON AN ISLAND

Montréal sits on an island. The island is in the St. Lawrence River in the province of Québec. The city’s suburbs have spilled over onto the mainland.

A mountain rises in the middle of Montréal and dominates the city. Its name is Mount Royal (Mont Real in an old form of French). Montréal takes its name from this mountain. At the top of Mount Royal is a beautiful park.
Downtown Montréal lies at the foot of Mount Royal. Skyscrapers, offices, banks, hotels, and shops cluster here. A law forbids downtown skyscrapers from rising higher than the top of Mount Royal.

A FRENCH-SPEAKING CITY

Two-thirds of Montréal’s people speak French as their native language. That makes Montréal the second largest French-speaking city in the world. Only Paris, the capital of France, has more French speakers.

Montréal was founded by settlers from France in 1642. That makes it one of the oldest cities in North America. Montréal was once part of New France, the empire built by France in North America. France lost this territory to Britain in the French and Indian War (1754-1763). Britain renamed the territory Canada.
Today, Montréal is a mixture of French and British influences. Most people speak both French and English. Montréal takes great pride in its French heritage. Tourists flock to the city to enjoy its fine French restaurants and its French atmosphere. Montréal also has excellent museums and theaters.
For most of Montréal’s history, nearly all its people were of either French or British descent. During the 1900s, many immigrants came to the city from countries in Europe. Montréal has also become home to immigrants from countries in Africa and Latin America.

CANADA’S PEOPLE
For a country its size, Canada’s population is quite small. About the same number of people live in Canada as in the U.S. state of California.
Most Canadians live near the country’s southern border. Two-thirds live within 200 miles (300 kilometers) of the United States. Canada’s northern areas are very lightly populated. Most who live there are Inuit or other indigenous (Native American) people.
Canada has two official languages: French and English. For a long time, France and Britain struggled for control of Canada. French explorers and traders arrived first, but Britain won control in a war that ended in the 1760s. Most of the French settlers stayed on and kept their language and traditions.
Today, most of Canada’s French speakers live in the province of Québec. They prize their French heritage. Many of them would like to separate from Canada and make Québec an independent country. However, Québec voters have narrowly voted against independence in two elections.

A FAIRLY NEW COUNTRY
Canada is a relatively new country. It was created from three British colonies in 1867. After they united to form Canada, the colonies became four provinces. Six more provinces later joined Canada. The province of Newfoundland and Labrador is the newest one. It joined Canada in 1949.
In 1931, Canada gained independence from Britain. But Britain's Queen Elizabeth II is also queen of Canada and the official head of the nation. Canada belongs to the Commonwealth of Nations, a group of countries that once formed part of the British Empire.

LAND OF MANY REGIONS
Today, Canada is made up of ten provinces and three northern territories. As a big country, it has many different regions.
British Columbia is the westernmost Canadian province and the only province on the Pacific Ocean. Mountains cover most of it. Vancouver, a major port city, is here.
The Maritime Provinces lie along the Atlantic coast. They consist of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. These provinces, along with Newfoundland and Labrador, are sometimes called the Atlantic Provinces. Fishing is a major industry in these provinces. The rugged, rocky coastlines and picturesque fishing villages draw tourists in summer.
In between the coasts are the Prairie Provinces and the eastern provinces of Ontario and Québec. Rolling wheat fields cover much of the Prairie Provinces—Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. They produce more than one-fifth of the world’s wheat.
Two-thirds of Canada’s people live in Ontario and Québec. These two provinces are Canada’s business and industrial heartland. Toronto, Canada’s largest city, is in Ontario. So is Canada’s capital, Ottawa. Montréal, the second largest city, is in Québec.
Canada’s three territories are in the northern part of the country, where the land is frozen much of the year. The Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and the Yukon Territory have long, extremely cold winters.

TRANS-CANADA HIGHWAY
The Trans-Canada Highway extends across the country. The eastern starting point is St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The western end is Victoria, British Columbia.
Along the way, the highway crosses five time zones and all ten Canadian provinces. With a length of 4,860 miles (7,821 kilometers), it’s the longest national highway in the world. The highway was completed in 1962.

MAJOR BODIES OF WATER
In addition to land, Canada has plenty of water. It contains more lakes and inland waterways than any other country. Hudson Bay, the largest bay in the world, is connected to both the Arctic and Atlantic oceans.
Four of North America’s five Great Lakes lie partly in Canada. All but Lake Michigan are on the border with the United States. Ontario touches all four lakes. The St. Lawrence River flows through southern Ontario and Québec. The river links the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean.
With so many water sources, it’s no surprise that Canada leads the world in the production of hydroelectric power—electricity produced from waterpower.

INTERNATIONAL PEACE GARDEN
Canada and the United States share a long border and have friendly relations. The International Peace Garden honors the friendship between the countries. This garden crosses the border into Manitoba in Canada and North Dakota in the United States. It lies at the geographic center of the North American continent.

Ottawa City

| | 0 komentar

The city of Ottawa, Ontario, is the national capital of Canada.

On July 1, 1867, Canada became a nation. Every year on that date, Canada celebrates Canada Day. Many of the biggest events for this national birthday party are held in the city of Ottawa, in the province of Ontario. That’s because Ottawa is Canada’s capital. If you’re there on Canada Day, you’ll see parades and spectacular fireworks displays.
GOVERNMENT HEADQUARTERS

The focus of Ottawa’s Canada Day events is Parliament Hill. Canada’s government meets in buildings on Parliament Hill to make laws for the nation. In the center of Parliament Hill is the Peace Tower. It was built after World War I (1914-1918) to honor Canada’s soldiers who died in that war.
FESTIVALS FOR ALL SEASONS

Parliament Hill overlooks the Ottawa River. The Rideau Canal connects the Ottawa River with Lake Ontario. In winter, the canal freezes and becomes the longest skating rink in the world! Skaters fill the canal during Winterlude. Ottawa holds this winter festival in January. Snow sculptures and ice sculptures line the banks. Ottawa is one of the coldest national capitals in the world.
Another big event in Ottawa is the Canadian Tulip Festival, held in May. It features large displays of tulips. As part of the event, boats decorated with tulips travel down the Rideau Canal. In 1945, The Netherlands sent Ottawa 100,000 tulip bulbs. The bulbs were a thank-you present to Canada for helping The Netherlands during World War II (1942-1945).
VISIT A FARM MUSEUM

You might not expect to find a farm in a big city, but there’s one in Ottawa. The Central Experimental Farm is part of the Canada Agriculture Museum. The farm conducts research, but it’s also a fun place to visit. You’ll see barnyard animals, rare trees, fields of grain, and beautiful gardens.
Ottawa has some other museums you might enjoy. See dinosaur fossils and enormous gemstones at the Canadian Museum of Nature. Learn about the world from exhibits at the Canadian Children’s Museum.

Avril Lavigne - Naked

| | 0 komentar

I wake up in the morning, put on my face
The one that's gonna get me, through another day
Doesn't really matter, how I feel inside
Cause life is like a game sometimes

But then you came around me,
The walls just disappears
Nothing to surround me
And keep me from my fears
I'm unprotected

See how I've open up
Oh, you made me trust

Chorus:
Cause I'm never felt like this before
I'm naked, around you
Does it show?
You see right through me, and I can't hide
I'm naked around you
And it feel so right

I'm trying to remember, why I was afraid
To be myself and let the,
Covers fall away
I guess I'd never had someone like you
To help me,
To help me fit
In my spirit

Back to Chorus

I'm so naked around you
And I can't hide
You're gonna see right through, baby
